Join us for a memorial reading and book launch celebrating the publication of Levee, poet Paul Otremba’s poignant and powerful third collection. Six extraordinary poets from across the U.S. – Michael Collier, Sally Keith, Tomás Morín, Hieu Minh Nguyen, Patrick Phillips, and Kent Shaw – come together to read from the book and pay tribute to Paul and his work. Paul Otremba, who died in June, was a nationally renowned poet, a beloved professor at Rice University, an alumnus of the UH Creative Writing Program, and a cherished member of the Houston community.
