Tina Chang<\/h2>\n

Tina Chang\u00a0was raised in New York City. The current Brooklyn Poet Laureate, she is the author of Of Gods & Strangers<\/em> (Four Way Books),\u00a0Half-Lit Houses<\/em>\u00a0(Four Way Books) and co-editor of the anthology\u00a0Language for a New Century: Contemporary Poetry from the Middle East, Asia, and Beyond<\/em>\u00a0(W.W. Norton). Her poems have been published in\u00a0American Poet, Indiana Review, McSweeney’s, The Missouri Review, Ploughshares, Quarterly West,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Sonora Review,\u00a0<\/em>among others. She has received awards from the Academy of American Poets, the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund, the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation, New York Foundation for the Arts, Poets & Writers, the Van Lier Foundation, among others. She teaches poetry at Sarah Lawrence College.<\/p>\n
