\u2014For A<\/p>\n

Said to exist chiefly
\nin tropical waters, where,
\ncontrary to belief, depths
\ncan be gloomy, full of
\nunnerving sadness, as if
\na geological error and
\ndiving down Neitzsche comes
\nto mind: not how one soul
\ncomes closer to another,
\nbut how it moves away,
\ntells about kinship.<\/p>\n

We merely expect
\na wallowing pleasure
\nwhen it turns a cold shoulder,
\non the born side of creation,
\nas beside it human swimmers
\ndo not seem to have matured:<\/p>\n

it is the most alarming
\nof our qualities, while
\nthe shark\u2019s bloodless gaze
\ncalls forth piety, then nausea.<\/p>\n
